Take the Wonders of Flight hot air balloon ride in Pigeon Forge to gently glide to an altitude of 500 feet in the air! This is the perfect way to get a bird’s eye view of the fall colors, and those with a keen eye might even spot the Vacation Lodge while floating high in the sky. Those who might be hesitant about riding in a hot air balloon don’t need to worry, as the Wonders of Flight balloon is safely tethered to the ground at all times. Since the balloon’s gondola is open air, guests can enjoy 360 degree views of the Smoky Mountains and beyond.

5. Walk the Observation Deck at the Gatlinburg Space Needle

Guests at our hotel will be just a short drive away from the Gatlinburg Space Needle, a 407 foot tall observation tower that overlooks the Smoky Mountains and downtown Gatlinburg. Bring your camera to get some fantastic shots of the fall colors, then enjoy the Space Needle’s Higher Learning Exhibits that feature fascinating facts about the area.
