Here are the top 4 things to do in the Smoky Mountains on St. Patrick’s Day:

1. Join the Festivities at the Island in Pigeon Forge

The Island in Pigeon Forge celebrates St Patrick’s Day all day long with a variety of festivities, and everything will be lit up in green to add to the spirit of the holiday! As you walk around this massive shopping, dining and entertainment complex, enjoy the various amusement rides, take a spin on the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, and stop often for food and drinks! You’ll also want to catch a performance of The Island Show Fountain, a free show with fountains programmed to lights and music!

2. Search for Shamrocks at Great Smoky Mountains National Park

While not as common as clovers with three leaves, four-leaf clovers can be found throughout the park. When exploring the park, search through any of the grassy areas to find your lucky charm! Although it may take a lot of luck to find one, it’s well worth the effort to take a look and enjoy the fresh mountain air!

3. See the Irish Fairytale Cottages at the Titanic Museum

Another one of the top things to do in the Smoky Mountains on St. Patrick’s Day is a visit to the Titanic Museum, where you can see Irish Fairy Cottages throughout the month of March! The special display of 5 Irish Fairy Cottages pays tribute to the 187 Irish passengers and crew who were aboard the Titanic. The cottages resemble miniature fairy residences that might have been built into the recesses of a woody glen, deep in the forests responsible for much of the character of the Emerald Isle!

4. Enjoy a Pint at the Fox and Parrot Tavern
