3. See Holiday Shows
Another reason why people love visiting Dollywood during this time of year are the holiday shows. You can visit the church and see Christmas carolers sing classic songs. The Mistletones at the Village Depot bring an acapella twist to your favorite Christmas songs. If you love country and bluegrass, you should go see Appalachian Christmas. Heart of the Holidays is a newer show with Dolly’s extended family and songs from her new Christmas album. Everyone will enjoy seeing these incredible shows.
4. Eat Delicious Food
Dollywood has delicious food any time of the year, but during Smoky Mountain Christmas, you can get season treats you won’t want to miss out on. At Spotlight Bakery, you can get gingerbread cookies, holiday cupcakes, and gingerbread cinnamon rolls with eggnog icing. There’s an apple pie funnel cake at the funnel cake stand and a full family-style meal at Aunt Granny’s. Plus, you can get hot chocolate at several places!
5. Shop Great Gifts
Smoky Mountain Christmas is a great event for people who love decorations. At every gift shop in Dollywood, you’ll find snowmen, reindeer, and Santa decor. You can get ornaments to decorate your trees at home. Other things you might want to bring home include wall decor, outdoor decor, and maybe even something that’s not holiday related as a gift!
