The Smoky Mountain Sweetheart, Dolly Parton, is coming home to East Tennessee in just a few short weeks, and we at Vacation Lodge could not be more excited!
What’s the occasion? Ms. Parton will be the grand marshal for the 29th annual Dolly Parade. Formerly known as the Annual Dolly’s Homecoming Parade, this exciting Pigeon Forge event draws fans from all across the region to come together and celebrate the beauty and excitement of spring in the Smoky Mountains.

Along with Dolly, parade goers will love watching the marching bands, entertainers, colorful floats, horses, and baton twirlers march down the street in true Smoky Mountain style!

This year’s parade will be held on May 2. Starting at 6 p.m., the parade route begins at River Road, next to Traffic Light #7 and extends north down the Parkway toward the Belz Factory Outlet World at Traffic Light #3. Be sure to arrive early! This year’s event is expected to draw up to 20,000 attendees.
