4. The Old Mill Pottery House Cafe

If you want a more modern twist on classic southern dishes, you should eat at The Old Mill Pottery House Cafe. This restaurant is the sister of The Old Mill Restaurant, and it’s located right across the street. You can’t go wrong with their quiche, pimento cheese sandwich, gumbo and grits, or anything on their menu, really! All of the bread used in the restaurant is made on site in the bakery, and you can’t miss out on any of the desserts!

5. Corky’s Ribs & BBQ

They are known for their ribs, but they also serve pulled pork, smoked sausage, fried catfish, beef brisket, and more. To go with your protein of choice, you can get corn on the cob, coleslaw, fried okra, mac and cheese, french fries, and more. Corky’s also has burgers, baked potatoes, and other sandwiches.
